Hello, everyone!
A button-up dress is another dress style I love. I used lightweight denim for this one, and it is very comfortable and cool. The black buttons certainly give it a bit of structure.

I decided to make a belt to complete the look. The fabric for the belt was interfaced since the fabric has a slight bit of stretch in it. To make the belt, fold one end of the fabric right sides together and stitch the seam.

Press a 1 cm seam allowance to the wrong side of the fabric.

Place the belting on the wrong side of the fabric and machine stitch in place. Sew the opposite straight-end seam to the buckle. VoilĂ ! The belt is done.

This one is a keeper!

Have a jolly good week!
