I made this dress for a graduation dinner party from a pattern I use quite often when I am pressed for time. I just added sleeves and a different neckline. Velvet tends to add quite a few centimeters to even the slimmest of hips and waists, but I love the colour and texture of the fabric. It oozes pure elegance and is so soft and comfortable to wear.
The Velvet Shoes rounded the look off perfectly.
The Black Overlay certainly adds some chic to the sleeves. It has tiny sequins that actually have a shimmer
which the camera does not seem to pick up.
I lined the dress with this cotton Lycra.
