Floral garments are seen on many runways lately. It certainly brings a feminine touch to any wardrobe and can be worn day or night. It was love at first sight when I saw the fabric of my latest project.
I used digital silk for this dress. The fabric is stiff and has a lovely, soft sheen. It works well with circular and fitted designs.
The dress is lined with taffeta because it is lightweight, cool, and crisp.
I decided to accessorize with my Akoya pearls, which have lovely flashes of pink, green, and violet. The camera never does it any justice.
