The festive season is upon us, and it’s time to do some Christmas decorating. It is also the time of year when we get family and friends visiting from near and far. With that come endless dinner parties, formal or informal. I decided on this black and blue taffeta dress as a start. I can easily style it up or down.
I love the colour combinations and the comfortable fit.
I was tempted to do something elaborate with the sleeves but changed my mind at the last minute. Furthermore, I prefer it plain as it is.
The pleats were stitched like darts, using the shoulder dart excess as opposed to just pressed pleats.
I also like to take the styling up a notch, depending on where we are going.
