Hello, everyone!
It certainly has been a long time since my last post. The projects I worked on took much longer to complete than I expected. I decided on this simple jacket to gently ease my way back into sewing and blogging.
Even though the rick rack exudes a retro look, it certainly added a bit of elegance to this jacket.
Sewing the trim is demonstrated in the post about a sleeveless shift dress with Rick Rack trim.
I lined the entire bodice and made lined patch pockets. See the tutorial on how to make lined patch pockets.
Polyester suiting was used for the trousers and jacket.
