Step 2: With right sides together, pin and stitch the shoulder seams of the garment together. Press the seams open.

Step 3: With right sides together, pin and machine stitch the necklines of the garment and the facing together.

Step 4: Clip the neckline.

Step 5: Understitch the neckline and trim the seam allowance.

Step 6: Lay the garment flat and with right sides together, pin the armhole facing to the garment armhole and machine stitch together.

Step 7: Clip the armhole seam allowance and understitch starting from the armhole to the shoulder seam. Then from the side seams to the shoulder seam. Repeat for the other side.

Step 8: Push the back panel through the shoulder.

Step 9: Pull the back panel through the shoulder.

Step 10: Tack the seams neatly and press the seams.

Step 11: Machine stitch the side seams of the garment front and back together. Stitch the facing to the garment seam allowance.
